New Relationship with Microsoft Offers Heightened Scalability and Monetization for OTT and Multiscreen Video
ATLANTA, GA, April 9, 2015 – Clearleap, a leading provider of multiscreen video logistics for the television industry, has today announced a multiyear agreement with Microsoft to enhance its cloud-based, multiscreen video offerings using Microsoft’s Azure Media Services. This relationship amplifies Clearleap’s existing suite of SaaS products, providing customers with the ability to scale their OTT and multiscreen solutions quickly and efficiently. Clearleap joins a select group of vendors chosen to participate in Microsoft’s cloud services for video.
Clearleap provides media companies with a multiscreen video management platform that features premium workflow and metadata management, flexible monetization, audience management tools, and a customizable user experience. Its modular dashboard can be customized for both a consumer-facing system and for internal operations, depending on client need. These existing SaaS services will be incorporated into Azure’s powerful cloud stack, allowing Clearleap to take advantage of high-caliber encoding systems, content protection, and CDN services. This additional cloud offering will operate parallel to Clearleap’s existing data center hubs, giving customers a hybrid option for their multiscreen strategies.
