Bresnan deploys Clearleap’s web-based platform for localized content
MSO Utilizing clear|flow and clear|profit to Program VOD and Linear Channels  


Atlanta-September 10, 2009- Washington, D.C.- Bresnan Communications and Clearleap, an Internet based TV technology platform today announced the nation's 13th largest cable provider has deployed Clearleap technologies across all of its systems. The Clearleap Technology Platform is used by  Bresnan to manage The SPOT, a  Video-On-Demand  section comprised of localized channels featuring businesses in categories such as jobs, dining, and events. The Clearleap solution will enable the operator to easily ingest, distribute, manage and monetize content of all types using the clear|flow and clear|profit modules.

In addition to VOD, Bresnan is planning to use the web-based platform to ingest local content and program its local linear channels with local and regional programming of interest to the MSO's subscribers. By using Clearleap for this function Bresnan will be one of the first US cable operators to use internet technologies for ingest and management of linear TV programming.

The deal will increase Bresnan's ability to cater to the special interests of their subscribers and advertisers in each system and drastically reduce the time and costs of getting targeted content to the consumer. Using clear|profit, Bresnan will be able to target local advertising on both VOD and Linear platforms.
