Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales & Business Development plays a vital and visible role in fostering new account opportunities by informing potential clients (cable/satellite TV operators, IPTV, set top box manufacturers etc...) of Clearleap's capabilities, identifying needs and ultimately leveraging brand recognition. The Director of Sales & Business Development determines how to effectively engage key decision makers through networking, lead generation campaigns, and proactively initiating communications using a variety of channels.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Promote and sell Clearleap solutions to new target accounts (cable/satellite TV operators, IPTV, set top box manufacturers etcÉ)
  • Leverage network of senior level executive relationships to secure new business.
  • Expand Clearleap's revenue and footprint within each account
  • Work jointly with Engineering, Marketing and Product groups to identify target account's business problems and frame the right solution
  • Oversee the development of detailed proposals and statements of work with the support of engineering and product management team members
  • Lead the negotiation of client contracts
  • Engage department heads in a way that effectively transitions from sales to execution
  • Generate and implement strategies for service improvement and growth
  • Work with Engineering, Marketing and Product groups to incorporate industry concepts into points of view that are relevant to target accounts
  • Occasionally attend industry trade shows and conferences.

Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of internet video streaming/distribution technologies and/or digital video solutions in cable, IPTV, Satellite and Broadband TV environments.
  • Experience developing and managing executive relationships at large companies
  • Experience selling complex services solutions to large companies with multiple constituents
  • Proven ability to penetrate new accounts
  • Senior level contacts in targeted industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
  • Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment.
