Scripps Networks Interactive and Clearleap Renew Multiscreen Partnership

Leading content developer signs multi-year renewal with Clearleap to manage, process, and deliver content for its television, Internet and mobile platforms

Atlanta, Georgia, August 20, 2014 Clearleap, the leading provider of multiscreen video logistics for the television industry, has renewed its contract with Scripps Networks Interactive after a successful two-year partnership. Clearleap will continue to process, manage and distribute programming content for some of the most highly viewed networks, including HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, and DIY Network. As a pioneer in the pay-TV industry, Scripps Networks recognized the opportunities that lay within the emerging media landscape and was one of the first networks to adopt a comprehensive multiscreen strategy into its greater business agenda. Clearleap has helped to shape and execute the Scripps Networks vision since 2012, significantly increasing the number of program assets delivered to Internet-connected devices and VOD.

Scripps Networks leverages Clearleap’s multiscreen publishing and VOD distribution solutions, which manage the ingest, transcoding, processing, and distribution of hundreds of program assets and metadata on a weekly basis. Clearleap’s centralized, modular dashboard allows for timely ad marking in order to take advantage of the 75-hour C3 measurement window. The platform’s flexible infrastructure is built to scale and evolve, not only as more distribution partners enter the Scripps Networks system, but also as new devices gain traction in the mainstream market.
